I found I spent less time "learning" how to use it, and more time actually designing my project. There is a lite version which is free (but has a ton of features) and the Pro version is only $37.50, which includes some more export options, drafting operations and the ability to construct isometric drawings from your 2D plan.ĬADStd is simple, intuitive and easy to use. In casting about for an easy to use, full featured CAD program I've found this wonderful application: I usually doodle out some basics on paper and then draw the components in the correct dimensions before building. I'm currently designing an "unique" alt/az mount for my Antares 1529. This might be more appropriate in the "software" section, but I thought it had more relevance for the ATM DIY crowd.
